Mr. Francis Chua, Founding Chairman of Philippine Silk Road International Chamber of Commerce, is one of the business leaders in the Philippines, and “an envoy of friendship” in cooperation between the Philippines and China. In the past three decades, he has left his footprints in the course of enterprise cooperation between the two sides. Even when China−Philippine political relation was still at a low ebb before June 2016, he had already initiated and established Philippine Silk Road International Chamber of Commerce, which is the first Silk Road Chamber of Commerce established in ASEAN countries after China proposed the Belt and Road Initiative. All of this can be attributed to his deep love for the China−Philippines friendship.
